Hi everyone
Thanks so much for voting for my point of balance rocks, I was not expecting that at all. Thanks to Deb @dejongdd for hosting the last mundane challenge, to the finalists and to all who posted entries.
As I sit here on the other side of the world from my home looking at European buildings and listening to a variety of different languages, I was wondering what unites many of our different cultures and is still mundane. The list of mundane objects is long but doesn't contain a cup / mug from which many of us drink our morning brew of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or the like.
So cup/mug is the new object and the tag is mundane-cupmug
As I am away from home on both work and pleasure, the competition will start today 13th August and will run for just over 2 weeks until 28th August. I'll choose finalists over that weekend and set up the voting.
Any technique, colour b&w, anything goes - I look forward to seeing your entries. You are welcome to post entries in this thread too to encourage others to try. You can see all the entries here: mundane-cupmug
Cheers
Debs

@dibzgreasley It's two shots - one with the cup propped up on a shot glass and one wit just the saucer by itself. Then you stack them in Photoshop and mask out the shot glass. You can find information about levitation photography online.
Oh how very cool. How did you do that?
Thanks Edwin. Love the spiral
