Not to be picky but isn't it spelled funicular? I have been on funicular railways in Europe but there is nothing around here - this will take some imagination!
@barbtatum I checked the list again (The phrontistery) and it was spelled like that. English not being my home language I did not realized the mistake. I also Googled your word and found it to be as you said : A funicular , also known as an inclined plane or cliff railway, is a cable railway in which a cable attached to a pair of tram-like vehicles on rails moves them up and down a steep slope, the ascending and descending vehicles counterbalancing each other. Seeing that there was an entry from Kathy Boyles lets leave it like that and request a photo of something hanging from a chain or rope. Sorry for the inconvenience caused but hope you will take part.
@sdutoit here's my entry, which I took yesterday (the 15th) and posted today (the 16th), even though it is dated ahead to the 19th. Also, just an FYI, I first used the tag f-word26, which is what the challenge says to use, but there were only two photos there, so I clicked on Kathy's shot (right above mine) and saw that she used a different link--f-wordw26. So all that to say, I posted on both links, and you might want to check both when you are picking shots as it seems some people used one and some the other.
