ABSTRACT Power Pole Challenge

October 21st, 2015
Sorry this is late. This is my first time hosting a challenge, and somehow I missed the thread when the mundane power pole challenge came out.

The subject of the next challenge is chosen by the winner of the last mundane challenge winner and the mundane abstract subject is the same. As the winner of the last mundane challenge, Spanner @spanner has chosen the new mundane object which is the power pole.

Your abstract image must differ from your mundane image, so you cannot double tag your posts. You can be more imaginative in the use of the item for this abstract challenge. You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to create an image of this mundane object in an abstract way.

You may enter as many photos on the subject as you'd like, but they need to be taken during the challenge time frame to be considered for a finalist.

***** Please tag your entries: abstract-powerpole *****

You may post your photos in this thread to inspire others.

The competition began October 14 (for those of you who know how this works and starting taking your pictures when the mundane challenge came out), and will run through October 28. Finalists will be chosen on October 29 and voting will take place from Thursday, October 29, 2015 until Tuesday November 3, 2015.

The winner will then host the next challenge after the mundane object has been chosen.
