Song Title #6

May 7th, 2016
Hi it is time to put your thinking caps on and start humming those tunes as we begin Song Title #6. I want to thank @northy for hosting the last one and for everyone who played along and voted.

The object of this competition/composition is to take a picture that could be appropriately titled with the title of a song. Any picture that might be appropriately named the title of a song works. Be creative! If you are posting a song that is obscure (to me at least, so makes the last twenty years unknown territory) and can't be found on You Tube, please also post the song lyrics and who sang it.

Please Tag your shot song-title6.

The challenge will run from today, May 7th through to Friday, May 27th. All images must have been taken and posted within this timeframe.

Apparently the following songs are officially retired and cannot be used
All you need is love - Beatles
You can leave your hat on - Joe Cocker
On the road again - Willie Nelson
Walk this Way - Aerosmith / RunDMC
Sweet dreams are made of this - Eurthymics

But there are plenty more where they came from, so get your air guitars prime, your flares pressed and start humming, whistling, yodeling, or screaming. Please enjoy it’s really not that painful and a bit of fun. I’m looking forward to your entries.

Hi Shady... tx for getting this set up! a couple quick points...

first, i think your winning image was "Sweet Dreams" - so that song title needs to be retired as well (winning titles are retired)...

second, you might want to let the challenge run only a couple weeks or so... longer than that and people may start to forget about it...

now off to think of what i'm going to enter this time around :)
