Just to start the ball rolling. This brooch in a prestigious jewellery shop is set with rubies and diamonds and is 2.5 in (about 7cms) across. I would have preferred to find a butterfly resting on wildflowers in the bush, but could only get my wheelchair as far as a boring shopping centre.
Wasn't thinking of this sort of shot at all when I first saw the challenge word but, when I processed this shot it did seem quite flamboyant to me, so I decided to post it to the challenge. Then I came here to add it to the thread and saw that a butterfly was also Ethel's sample image. Not sure if that means that great minds think alike or just that i lack the imagination to come up with something original. :-)
