Picking the Final 5?

I was super flattered to be picked for the final 5 in the movie scene competition, especially since I wasn't even going to enter - I tagged my "adventure" photo at the last minute, thanks to @elisabeth's suggestion.

This leads me to the question - "how are the final 5 picked?" Is it @scrivna? Is there another selection process I'm not aware of? I'm sure this has been discussed to death, so apologies and thank you for answering a newb's question.

I believe it is indeed Ross who gets to choose. Not sure, but he may get help from the magic monkeys!

@photophil @scrivna I have it on good authority that cash donation sent to Ross in amount between $1,000 and $10,000 may strongly influence the judging!

And if you get impatient, just try to pick the best five for the theme, then you might give Ross a break on the time it takes to get the finalist posted.
