Ok, I do this with my students. I post a quote and they have to name the movie. Well, we can SO do this with our photos. Just take a pic that makes sense for the movie or the part of the movie with the quote in it. And then put your challenging movie quote in the caption. It can't be obvious, it's gotta be unique. (It's called a challenge, people.) Their reward is a free daily grade 100 if they guess the movie. Our reward is...well, we guess the movie. LOL.
Sound fun? Wanna join in and try to stump the master of movies?? (which is not me, by the way, by any means. It's my hubbs. He's like a walking movie database.) Anyone else think they're the master of movies??
@sdpace sweet!!! I'm glad you like it! It's actually all my husband's fault. He walks around saying a movie quote then says, "name the movie"...sometimes I get it. The rest of the time he stumps me. lol
"the time has come," the Walrus said
"to talk of many things...of shoes and ships and sealing wax
of cabbages and kings! And why the sea is boiling hot
and wether pigs have wings."
The picture doesn't go with the quote but they're from the same movie..and don't go to the picture - it gives it away :)
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain. Time to die.
I don't know if World of Warcraft screenshots are considered eligible "photos", but I have posted three funny movie-themed posed shots we did a few years ago for a movie-name contest. I mostly posted them for fun, so if you want to see them click my profile.
My husband and I had a lot of fun thinking of what movies could be reenacted in a computer game.
I'm so glad I'm not the only person that does that haha. I'll always manage to use a quote in general conversation and instantly say 'name that movie' lol. I got my fiance doing it too, Love this idea by the way :-)
@amyhughes Its funny movie but I have friends that live in other parts of the country that have never seen it either. Its sorta a Boston thing I guess haha
"I knew the white swan wouldn't be your problem. The real work would be your metamorphosis into her evil twin. I know I saw a flash of her yesterday, so get ready to give me more of that bite. "
In America We Have Laws
Laws against killing.
Laws against stealing.
It's accepted that, as a member of
society, you will live by these laws.
In West Canaan, Texas, there's
another society that has its own laws.
Football is a way of life.
*name the movie*

"I was wondering if you would like to join me in my quarters this night....for some toast?"
"Where do the Sox rank in terms of importance to your life?"
"I'd say the Red Sox, Sex, breathing."
Red Sox all the way!!

Your mother was a fragging aardvark!
Most obscure quote for the movie I could think of.
"So cats, throw your mittens around your kittens and away we go!!"
"I knew the white swan wouldn't be your problem. The real work would be your metamorphosis into her evil twin. I know I saw a flash of her yesterday, so get ready to give me more of that bite. "
..probably too easy, am I right?
*Singing*: Dah dah dah dah a little birdie told that one of guests here is a tom collins fan
Good evening Mrs. Esterhouse. (that may not be an exact quote from the movie but it's pretty close)
Caddyshack? or Caddyshack 2?
sometimes dead is better.
"i don't want to be buried... in a pet sematary. i don't want to live my life again."
"Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself"
