What a surprise to find out I won Challenge #18! Thank you to Richard for organizing the last contest with his terrific theme. I also want to thank all those who participated and those of you who voted for me and this photo!
The new challenge starts today/tomorrow with the theme of school days. Since some children have already started and others will be soon I thought it might be an interesting subject.
I can't wait to see all the different interpretations!
Start of the challenge: Aug 8, 2019
Finish of the challenge: Aug 29, 2019
Tag for the challenge: Composite19
A composite photograph is one that is made up of several photographs or pieces of photographs which have been merged or layered together. It can also include textures and effects that have been applied to the picture as well. Composite photography gives you a lot of room for creativity and ingenuity as you manufacture photos composed of elements that might not necessarily be found together in reality but somehow they seem completely at home with one another in the picture.
For our composite challenge here on 365 you must use at least one picture that is completely yours but you can blend in other images, such as stock images, if you so choose. Just keep in mind that should you use an image that is not yours it should be licensed as free to use for any purpose.
You are very welcome to enter as many times as you wish - the more the merrier! However, to allow as many 365ers as possible to participate, only one entry from any contestant may be chosen as a finalist.
Composite themes so far:
# 1 love
# 2 moon
# 3 shoes, sandals and feet
# 4 fruit and vegetable
# 5 animals
# 6 big and small / huge and tiny
# 7 place and space
# 8 it's just my imagination
# 9 Water
# 10 Surrealism
# 11 Darkness
# 12 Just priceless
#13 Birds
#14 A Strange Encounter

#19 School Days (current Challenge)
And lastly – it would be great if you could post some of your images to this post as well as the tag page. It will give us inspiration and it will keep the thread alive.
Congratulations on your win. At least you don't actually have to have children in this just a school as the schools where I live don't start until September.
@la_photographic Thanks Laura and that is precisely why it is an open interpretation.
