There were some seriously beautiful candle photos last week, wow. Here are just 4 to show off, but really there is no way I could put up all the ones I loved there were so many.
Have you ever thought of how crazy it is that the people on this site, or photographers and artists in general can look at the same exact subject in such a different way? That we can find one object, yet the photographs that spawn from our imaginations of that exact same object are completely and totally different.
I propose a weekly challenge! Each week, on Friday, I will name an object that we all take a photo of. Then we post them on this thread and see how completely different each of us saw that object! (and of course suggestions for objects each week are COMPLETELY welcome!)
How about this week we do...*drumroll please*....COFFEE!!
There are so many possibilities for coffee. And it's something readily available to everyone! How can you get creative with coffee?
Let's tag this week's can "objectchallenge-coffee".
Hm, I didn't specifically take this for this challenge - but it's still a coffee shot and shows my love for the black gold... lol! Does that still count? ;-)
@renelou nah!! it's not a competition, it's just to give ideas, so feel free to use old ones! And then also take some new ones this week if you can't think of anything to shoot :)
@gilly :D on the right side, toward the bottom of your page with the photo you want to add, you'll see a box that says "Share". Make sure you copy all of it, and then you just paste that code in here and voila!!
This is a fairly recent one of Brenda http://365project.org/liipgloss/365 taken at Maccas Newcastle. I love this one...cant figure out how the clown reflection ended up in the background...
An older one from my early macro craze
@Brandy W - Love the perspective on the starbucks one @Michelle Gaynor - Love the motion drip drop
ok so this one I posted back on February 19th so probably does not count for challenge but still love how it turned out and dont really think I could top it but might not stop me from trying :)

@amy...LOL Yes, yes it is... we had just come in from a sunset shoot. I also find the bra is a good safe storage compartment for lens caps, cleaning cloths, lighters, remotes ect

@mickeydomingo easy peasy! on the page your pic is on, look down to the bottom right...the box that says "Share", just make sure you copy the entire line! Paste that code right here and post your reply. And voila!!
@rudit It doesn't matter, we can just post any time up here. I posted some really old ones too....it's here just for sharing and also to give an idea during the week if you have none. :D
@relicsong I love your collage! especially the reflection in cup @ top right! And your wired shot is already a fav of mine! @teliz3 that made me laugh, very creative! @mamabec I want to sit there with my cup o' jo, very nice shot!
@amyhughes What about lights? Could be lamps, car lights, Christmas lights.....might end up with some awesome bokeh :-) My husband's suggestion....a Little Tykes plastic slide....creative seeing as there is one sitting in our living room ;-) Good luck coming up with another awesome object!
