First of all, thank you so much again for your votes and lovely comments on the Rene Magritte competition. I had so much fun with that artist competition. As for the next artist to come...I gave it much thought...

...and here we go!!! Let's go FASHION. Let's get up close and PERSONAL. Let's see what's REAL. Let's emulate Richard Avedon!!! :)

Richard Avedon is known mostly for his very up-close and personal photography of both famous and not-so famous people. He is a well-known fashion photographer in the world of Hollywood. He is known to get under people's skin as he photographs them, just so he can get their true colors to shine through. Many of his images might be familiar to you. Here are a few:













I am looking for strong portraits! If possible, refrain from copying Avedon's work. Make it your own! This is a great excuse to make self-portraits..but an even greater excuse to photograph people you don't know!!!
