Thanks to all who voted for my Energy photo in the Chema Madoz challenge! I had a great time creating the photo, and a lot of fun brainstorming for the theme!
I've chosen a lesser-known (ie not Picasso) artist named Mike Stimpson.
Mike is a photographer from the UK - but not necessarily by trade. He, like many of us, explores photography as a serious hobby and makes a little dough here and there. :)
I've been thinking about who I would use if I ever won the artist challenge, so I've had Mike on my mind for awhile! This challenge will either be wildly popular or really alienate a lot of people. Maybe both. Regardless, it will be fun for anyone who chooses to participate!
Mike's photography subject is Lego. Most everything I have seen of his is either a classic photo recreated in Lego (my favorite!) or a neat portrayal of StarWars Lego characters.
Challenge starts today Thursday August 18th and will end Tuesday August 23th
Only photos taken during these times will be accepted for the top 5- multiple entries are fine.

Congrats on the win! I very nearly bought myself a set of cute themed Lego figures a few months ago specifically for this project but, unfortunately, money has been too tight for silly splurges like that. I'll see if I can think of something in the same vein using stuff I already own.
@janmaki what you mean you don't have lego?! @triciaanddazzle you can always buy little minifigure, you never know whats inside the little pack so it's a fun surprise ;)
