Ever wonder why a fast food hamburger looks so good on the TV ads, then you go buy one and it looks like somebody sat on it ? This is a neat, short video to show how to make this food look edible !!

lol. saw a show like that on the food channel, and if people knew WHAT went into food, most of us would eat home grown..

I'm eating more and more homegrown ! At first I was trying to save money, then I found out what food with no chemicals tastes like !! No more BK !!

Just check out Weng's shots... he could make deep-fried spiders look appetizing.

I knew there was more than one reason (or a hundred reasons) I didn't eat fast food! Ew.

Although I'm not much of a food photographer, I am a cook - and a locavore one at that. My 365 project catalogs my vow to eat at least one fresh, local item of food every day. Hopefully this project will help me get better at actually making that food look delicious in pictures :)

I also belong to a couple of cooking type message boards and I get to share my food photography there as do many of the other members. I've learned a lot from them and also just by practicing. All of my images are of food I'm going to eat right after the shot is taken, so the food isn't messed with in a way that would make it inedible.

Very interesting. I saw a food stylist on TV once, and she showed how they make a turkey look appetizing. They use a blow torch to get the skin juicy looking, but the turkey is actually nearly raw.
