i have it on s8r.. i dunno if i'm making any sense here... but yeah... i have read an article saying that a 35mm corresponds directly to 4 x 6 inch (4R), 8 x 12 inch (S8R), 12 x 18 inch, 16 x 24 inch and 20 x 30 inch. It's also fairly close to 5 x 7 inch (5R) and 3.5 x 5 inch (3R). 3R (3.5 x 5 inch); 4R (4 x 6 inch); 5R (5 x 7 inch); 8R (8 x 10 inch) from 4x5 film negatives; S8R (8 x 12 inch); 11 x 14 inch close to 4x5 film negatives; 12 x 18 inch; 16 x 20 inch from 4x5 film negatives; 16 x 24 inch; 20 x 24 inch close to 4x5 film negatives; 20 x 30 inch

am i making any sense here??

@icywarm i have no idea.. i tried to fit it in.. and the picture looks stretched... i tried though the s8r.. it kinda fit well...

Ok, because every sensor is a little different in size and that different H x W obviously will be different than H x W of paper.... oh how I miss square film... so you could crop later!

Mac, if you stretch a picture to fit then it will be distorted. You have to click on a corner and be sure you're enlarging not stretching.

I get really irritated every time I go to a printer - I've lost a lot of heads:-) It's called crop ratio. You have to figure out the ratio and then allow for that.
