The national park Hoge Veluwe with hunting castle St. Hubertus is only for paying tourists and therefore rather quiet. We already have a subscription for many years now. When walking around the castle pond I suddenly saw a huge (my mountain boot size) mushroom and I realized it could well serve as a foreground for the castle.
The castle was built by Mr Müller and Mrs Kröller; the latter created the famous park museum containing many drawings of Vincent van Gogh.
Beautifully composed. That mushroom looks gigantic. Looked up the place and put it on my "To-visit" places. Visited the Netherlands a couple of times, once on holiday and other times on EU education related work.
