Mt Damper Falls by dkbarnett

Mt Damper Falls

These waterfalls are 74 metres high, but this photo is just the bottom bit. My husband and I had the day off to explore a little bit of Taranaki heartland and had a great time. It is the first time we have visited these falls. I set my camera to incandescent light - that is why it is a bit blue but I like the effect. This looks slightly spooky as well!!
I haven't been to Mt Damper for a long while - is it still an "entertaining" drive?

@graemestevens it certainly was "entertaining"! We also went via Whangamomona - New Zealand's republic!

@graemestevens Not far away then - I live half way between Bell Block and Waitara :-)

@dkbarnett Not far at all. For most people that would be classed as being "uncomfortably close to Graeme" ;)
