Ship a sailing by dkbarnett

Ship a sailing

Marsden Point of Pacific Basin Shipping leaving Auckland and heading for Port of Tauranga. I can't recall seeing a ship this size heading under the Auckland harbour bridge, but I understand the upper span was built because of ships heading to and from the Chelsea Sugar factory - still in production today. I loved this image because of the rain and mist in the background putting the bridge into relief against it - plus the ship coming under the bridge. I haven't done any post processing. This photo was taken using the 'toy camera' setting on my camera.
Good fogggy shot

This is really great. It has an ageless look to it.

@777margo Thanks Margo
@dide I quite like the toy camera setting - it does give the aged look to a photo.

@nearlyincontrol Sorry Nic that I haven't replied to your comment until now, but did you see the boat somewhere?
