Today in New Plymouth was VERY wet. It rained all night and didn't let up all day! I actually visited the small New Plymouth zoo, but all the birds and animals were wisely keeping well under cover. This photo is a bit of play taken through my kitchen window. I have seen some lovely out of focus photos and have been wanting to try. I was reasonably happy with this as you can still see the basic structure of the photo. I will keep trying!
Beautiful ... love it ... there is a book called 'Does it have to be in Focus' which gives some ideas ... some are a bit whacky ... but is interesting as it gives the photographers' insights on why they took their images :)
@maggiemae We have had a lot of rain! That day in particular! @dide I can imagine. When we first moved back here from Auckland, it was May and it rained everyday for the next three months!! That is why it is so green of course. One thing a lot of people don't realise though is not only do we have a lot of rain, but we have a lot of sunshine hours. Usually in the top 3 in New Zealand! @catsmeowb Thanks Camille @shylaine3304@merrelyn Thanks so much. @moonmtn Thanks Kahsia, but I'm sure they have turned out well. I would like to keep trying these ICMs (didn't know this abbreviation before!) @claudiet Yes it is different, something I would quite like to pursue @haskar Thank you :-) @alijchapman That does sound like an interesting book, I will have to look into it. @dawnee Thank you @ziggy77 Thanks so much.
