We visited the Jama Masjid. The mosque was built between 1644 and 1656. Inside mosques you have to remove shoes and leave them outside. It was so hot (around 45º Celsius) that it was difficult to walk on the hot paving. I don't know how these kids were standing still on it.
@happypat I loved seeing how often even the seemingly poor were dressed so nicely. Yes they certainly must have had tough feet. It really was too hot to stand on. @fbailey@haskar Thanks so much for commenting :-) @jgpittenger Its like I said to Pat, it was lovely how they were so nicely dressed. I guess going to the temple was an important visit.
