I took this photo on the 20th, but because I hadn't taken any photos on the 19th have put it into this date. We travelled up from Auckland to Opua with two of my grandchildren on the 19th. Here they are running across the flat bay of Te Haumi Bay of Islands. When the tide is out there is a huge expanse of beach and is a good place for foraging for cockles.
