We drove back to Taranaki and loved this view of Mt Taranaki from the North Taranaki coastline. A couple of birds photobombed and it would have been better had they been a bit more focused.
I always think Mount Taranaki is an extraordinary mountain. So pointy & rising up straight & tall into the sky. It looks even more impressive as it’s the only one there!
@happypat I agree Pat - this is what makes Mt Taranaki so interesting - being by itself near the coast. When you do get back to New Zealand (hopefully soon), you might be able to get here :-)
@yaorenliu This is actually a view from the coast - looking over the Taranaki Bight. I do quite like getting sea in front of a mountain view as it shows how close it is to the coast.
