I am seriously impressed with these three guys. They set themselves the challenge of breaking the world record for the most holes of golf played in a twelve hour period. They did this to raise funds for Kidney Kids NZ. The world record stood at 252 holes or 14 rounds of golf! All three of them broke the record. Mick, my son-in-law (on the left) did 253 holes, Jamie (on the right) did 270 holes, and Shanon (in the centre) smashed the record with an incredible 311 holes running 101.1 kilometres, with 3 birdies and 7 lost balls. The day started at 6:30 AM and finished at 6:30 PM. My daughter Adelle has been doing a lot of the organising so I have been babysitting Rocky. I think everyone was shattered by the end of the day!
Congratulations to all three of them!
