While walking on Whitehaven beach, I found this ant and took a photo. I loved the colour and shape of it. The silica sand is so white - it is a beautiful beach.

for get-pushed how about looking for complimentary colours, or if you can do post-processing use the colours for split toning your image
@randystreat I agree with you Kathy - he does look a bit prehistoric. I am finding I have a strange fascination with ants. It is nice having a holiday in Australia where some of the ants are much bigger than we have at home.
@kali66 Hi Kali - thanks for your challenge. I am still in Australia, but we do head back to Auckland on Wednesday. For the first time I missed doing the challenge set for me last week and I feel bad about that. I will think about your challenge later on today if that is ok.
