Oh my word, Skippers Canyon. I remember a bungy jump from the bridge there, 96m of Frenzied Flight, if I remember the slogan that was printed on my t-shirt. Yes, I got the t-shirt. And yes, I got the video! Quite a scary day, back in 1992, starting with a jet boat up the river, then the bungy jump and finishing with white water rafting on the Shotover, when it was graded 5 and our guide came out of the raft - not once, but twice. This is a beautiful image. Thanks for the memories!
@jamibann That sounds like such a fun day. I am sure it would have been very memorable. The bungy I did was in Taupo. Was going to do one in Queenstown but had to do the big swing instead. Not as exhilarating as the bungy! When I was there, my friend and I had a dip in the Shotover River from near where the Skippers jet boat leaves. It was definitely the coldest dip we did!!
