Before the dip

Looking back toward the East along the walkway from the breakwater. While in the water this time, it started raining heavily - and then started hailing. It was so surreal. The hail was only small but it was hurting our ears!! After our dip we needed hot coffee and huddled around the gas fire at the Bach Café - very close to where this photo was taken.

@wakelys Don't worry Susan, I wouldn't go in for a dip right there where there are waves and rocks. The beach where I dip is protected by a breakwater and has a nice sandy bottom.
