We were preparing dinner when this little owl flew into our window and knocked herself out. This is my son-in-law holding the Ruru after picking her up from where she was out cold in the garden. He took her to a vet that looks after injured native birds. After a few days being treated for concussion, here she is the day they released her back into our garden.
