Last Sunday when we drove to Cromwell, we saw this view as we drove over the bridge, but unfortunately didn't have time to stop. This time I prevailed on my husband to stop the car, turn around and head back to where I could check out the river. The water was an amazing colour of greens and blues, plus the gold of the poplar trees.
