I went with my son and his partner for the first little bit of the Routeburn great walk - through a lovely beech forest, before I had to turn around and leave them. It would have been so nice to carry on walking with them. Tomorrow will be a great day for them with the new snow - cold though!
@kali66@fbailey Thanks so much for your comments. There is so much beautiful scenery in this area. Hopefully I can come back again soon and explore some more!
