Chuck Wagon

Similar to the cook wagons used on a cattle drive in the late 1800's. The back of the wagon swings down to form a table and the inside was the pantry. Cookie, the chef would serve up the cowboy grub. The arches are missing the canvas that covered the wagon.

Wonderful capture of the old chuck wagon! I hear that at the National Cowboy Gathering in Elko, Nevada they have some great food served by cowboy cooks who drive these old wagons. One of these days, I'm going to get there and find out for myself. =)
