(With my apologies for vegans and vegetarians).
Is there anything more American than an hamburger? Yet it's named after the German city Hamburg and it seems it was invented by the Huns. Here I cooked some Italian "Scottona" meat and garnished it with French brie, South-Tyrolian Speck, Southern Latium legumes, a round slice of Emilian "piadina", and leaves of Belgian endive. Immigration? Trade protection policies? What for?
What a wonderful sounding combination. Plain old hamburgers need to be 'spiced' up now and then. I also hope that we can understand and appreciate the connections that we have and we can then become a stronger community.
@blueberry1222 Though I tried a coupe of times, I never managed to cook a decent bun :-( Thank you!
