Sometimes you just feel blue,
A guiding light trying to fade
Or shining in the wrong place,
Indicating a direction, not an aim,
And the world is a bubble.
Then, unexpected, happiness on a wall.
beautiful words and last image shines
I am glad there was happiness in the last - I was feeling the blue

@annied It really struck me from a wall. Absolutely unexpected.

@domenicododaro that's very cool and awesome

@juliedduncan thank you, Julie!

What a cheerful end with that unexpected happiness. Sorry I missed the story on every day - but lovely to see them all together.

Great shots.s I love the bottom right!

@helenhall glad you like it! As said above, it was really an unexpected happy ending.
@kwind thank you so much, Kim!

Love it, makes so much sense.
July 17th, 2017
You made another interesting story here, it is very clever how you did this.
July 18th, 2017
@yaorenliu @365street thank you both. Not very successful, however.
July 18th, 2017
I think it is successful, you made a story that no one else made before and you used some interesting pictures in the story.
July 19th, 2017
@365street Too kind of you...

Delighted ;-) to see a happy and colourful conclusion. Is there an Italian word equivalent to the French ennui?
July 22nd, 2017
@s4sayer Thank you very much, I am not good enough at French to know, sadly: the only translation I find is "noia", the equivalent of "boredom".
July 23rd, 2017
Yes, you're right, ennui, is boredom, yet the word has many nuances, How could I forget our French teacher talking about ennui for a whole lesson? Start with boredom...and then consider some of these: world weariness, tedium, grief, worry, bother, troubles. You might find this phrase apposite: c'est à mourir d'ennui, it's enough to bore you stiff / to tears /to death. Have fun ;-)

@s4sayer For a moment I feared that "ennui" was you reaction to my photos ;-)

Boot on the other foot aka the reverse. I thought the shots 1-5 had a certain sadness, regret or disappointment, yet 6 redeemed them all!

Very interesting collage
July 24th, 2017
@s4sayer thank you! You got it right - of course. It had been quite a gloomy week (misisng sorely my daughter left for a trip to celebrate her coming 18th birthday) when I stumbled into that graffiti and suddenly smiled.
@777margo thank you very much!

Your process and poetic text are wonderful, Domenico. I really like this! I just read your comment about missing your daughter - thankfully she will have been back by now... although at her age now she will fly her own wings before you know it!
July 24th, 2017
Apologies, I thought this was from June - she just started! And so she will be back soon, I am certain! ^_^
July 24th, 2017
@kerosene Yes, luckily (for me...) it was not so long a trip (you know, she was out for studying English and German much longer in the last years, but always in kind of a "protected" environment, this was her first experience as a "lone" traveller... and I missed her so hard exactly because I know she is going to fly her own wings really soon...) Thank you very much for your kind words!
July 24th, 2017
@domenicododaro oh!!! I know exactly what you mean about the 'protected' environment. It makes quite a difference! I think it's a hard challenge for us parents to 'let go'... :)

Boot on the other foot aka the reverse. I thought the shots 1-5 had a certain sadness, disillusion. regret or disappointment, yet 6 redeemed them all!
July 24th, 2017
@kerosene It is! I wil do it, obviously, and just change again my life... Only, this time I know how it is going to be, I've been without children for a while!
