«I know, it’s little more - ok, ok, little less - than a postcard. But...» Inevitably, looking out on the Forum from the Capitolium hill takes a long breath out of me. I watch and I watch and I do not get tired.
Beautiful capture, when this whole crisis comes to an end maybe it's time for me to visit some of the beautiful cities we have in Europe, Rome might be a good start.
I know that I for a fact would feel the same. We've been to Rome a few times, it just does not let one go. A wonderful capture of this part of an amazing city.
@kali66 Indeed. And we still can’t envisage will the grand finale be... @leonbuys83 now this is a great idea. I look forward to it, and count on enjoying some time together when it will happen! @jgpittenger It is, as a matter of fact... so difficult to make her justice with photos. @mbrutus It would be great to have you here! @golftragic Thank you kindly. @ludwigsdiana It is, darn it! As I wrote in the foreword of Stephan Brigidi’s photo book “Rome 1970s” (Daylight pub., 2019) Rome "is an absentminded but demanding mistress, constantly giving you tests and disregarding the results." But once you’re hooked you cannot leave it...
Truly, take pity on the Soul that is not moved by this view! Back in 2010 I posted my photo from this location and was pleased with the lighting on that day. But Oh, Domenico! In Black and white, the image is timeless! Such a remarkable sight!

@blueberry1222 indeed not! Thank you
