This is the where the entrance to Wellingborough Zoo was many years ago. It closed in 1970 after some controversial incidents from the reports I've seen online. A leopard attacked a man shortly after it opened, a lion was taken to the local pub (The Red Lion 🤣) and a chimp that smoked a pipe apparently amongst other crazy happenings.
Probably best it closed really.
