Chinese Snowball Viburnum

Day 102 of 365: Chinese Snowball Viburnum

2015 April 12: Our "snowball bush" has been completely loaded with huge beautiful white blooms for the past few days, and it is now taller than our house.

A previous owner planted this bush as a foundation plant decades ago ...evidently not knowing that Chinese Snowball Viburnum gets 15 feet tall and 15 feet wide!

Every few years we cut the bush down to the ground to rejuvenate it. Last year we decided to also take cuttings so we can plant several of these around the perimeter of our yard and let these gorgeous plants grow to their full potential.
WOWZER!! I used to have one of these, but mine never got this tall or wide!! How absolutely beautiful!!! My sister-in-law has one with huge snow balls on it this year but again no where near the size of yours!!! They remind me of huge hydrangeas!!! Love this you lucky woman you!! FAV!
