2015 April 22: We have several varieties of maple trees in our yard; during the springtime they drop seeds everywhere! The squirrels seem to especially like eating the ones that fall onto our deck, and I am happy to have them clean it up for me.
Today I noticed that this cute squirrel seemed quite industrious at trying to eat all the maple seeds off our deck; I wished him good success.
I am going to plant me some maple trees!!!! My squirrels just eat all of my bird seed!!! What a cute photo and I wish him well at cleaning up your deck!! LOL FAV!
Thanks, @Kathy! I am fortunate that my backyard squirrels have plenty of food sources, so they only bother my bird seed when the winter weather is very bad.
