2015 May 24: Our forecast didn't call for rain until tomorrow, and the day started out with just some beautiful scattered clouds. We had all of the windows in our home open to feel the comfortable breeze wafting in.
However, as the day wore on these beautiful wispy clouds kept getting increasingly thicker and darker, while the wind got stronger and much more gusty by the hour. By late afternoon the humidity was so strong that the air felt hot, thick, and muggy.
Around sunset, while we were in the middle of grilling out our supper, rain began falling -- and got so heavy that we had to finish grilling under a couple of huge golf umbrellas. It is amazing how quickly the weather can change!
