2015 July 17: Our magnolia blooms were beautiful and delightfully fragrant this summer, but they are now closing up into seed-pods. This is one of the first seed-pods of the season to fall ...Soon I will get to enjoy watching our backyard birds feasting on the seeds as more pods join it.
What a great macro shot of these pods!! I have a magnolia tree in my yard, but it's an old one that had been in a pot way too long, so we are hoping it will spread out, now that it's planted and give us some flowers!! I just love them and their smell is so sweet! I think the pods are so interesting in their shapes and colors!! Fantastic details and lighting!! FAV!
