2015 October 28: For the past several days, the remnants of Hurricane Patricia have brought a good bit of wind and rain to my area. The storms are moving north now and should clear here by the end of the day ...but for now skies are still quite dark -- and mysteriously beautiful!

The hurricane made landfall in Mexico as a Category 5 storm ...even though I live hundreds of miles from there, the winds and rains were still quite strong when they reached us. We didn't have any damage, and I understand from our news that there was no loss of life even in Mexico (quite remarkable!).
Glad to see you had no damage. What was left of the storm passed through western Pennsylvania this evening. There was not much wind but there was quite a bit of rain. No flash flooding however.
Oh, so that explains the heavy rain and winds tonight! Although we don't usually get the Gulf weather like this. Good shot- it really looks like the storm is going to happen any moment!
