2016.03.22 Tuesday: Our forecast calls for clouds, rain, and storms after today ...so our local weatherman reminded all of his viewers to get out and see the moon and Jupiter tonight. So my sons and I got out our telescope and had a wonderful time viewing the night sky.
In this collage, the moon is shown rising over the mountain. Above it is a pic of Jupiter and two of its moons; this one was taken by my son as he held his camera phone up to our telescope. The final photo is of two of my sons setting up the telescope for this viewing.
It was quite chilly, but we had an enjoyable experience!
