2016.04.06 Wednesday: We had a heavy rainstorm last night ...It evidently beat a good many maple seeds down from our trees. When I looked out on our deck this morning, everything was quite littered with maple "helicopters"!
Nice close up of the seeds. We have so many maple trees around here that the seeds are almost like snow when they begin to fall. It's a real pain to clean them up which I can never do completely.
@pej I clean the seeds up as best I can; but between the wind and the squirrels, every year we have maple trees sprouting everywhere. If I weren't vigilant, we would live in a maple forest!
