Sunflower Seeds by dsp2

Sunflower Seeds

2016.05.08 Sunday: I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend ...My family took me out to lunch on Saturday and we luxuriated in the enjoyment of our time together. Today was a beautiful although rather hazy day, so in the evening we planted several varieties of sunflower seeds in anticipation of having our newest garden prepared for them soon.

It should take these seeds 2 - 3 weeks to germinate; when they grow, some of these varieties only get a couple of feet tall ...others get up to 16 feet tall! I expect them to be a beautiful mass of sunflowers by August or September.
