2016.05.13 Friday: Every spring I bring home at least one Double-flowered Impatiens ...each year hopeful that this will be the year that I manage to get one of these plants to enjoy a long and healthy life in my yard. Up until this year I haven't been as successful as I had envisioned, but this may be my year: The plant in this photo is thriving, blooming beautifully, and giving me hope!
Beautiful plant- I'm not sure whether they like water or a little less water but I have found that if I follow the directions on the little plastic tab they stick in the pot the plants do just fine. I think Impatients also like to be in shade or semi-shade.
