2016.06.01 Wednesday: Since this is Day 1 of the 30 Days Wild challenge, I was planning to do one of the prompts for my daily pic ...until this awesome young Blue Jay landed a few feet away from me while I was birding. I think it likely that he is the same awkward student as featured in my May 26th photo ...if so, he is growing up quite quickly and has mastered the art of flying!
Much to my amusement, he seemed to have something that he sincerely needed to say; as soon as he was done he hopped off my deck and quickly flew off with his father in tow.
Ooo, how sweet! Fabulous capture of this precious youngster. I can imagine how thrilled you were when it landed close by! I've never seen such a young blue jay. Thank you for posting this!
