2016.06.03 Friday: Today we enjoyed comfortable weather to walk through Bridge Street; it was a beautiful (although hot) summer day! I enjoyed this view of "wild" lush green growth along the placid pond -- contrasted with the looming space Rocket.
@olivetreeann The rocket is real ...It is a display outside the Space & Rocket Center, which is behind the place where I was walking.
"Space" is a big deal in my area: Huntsville is known as "the Rocket City" and is NASA's 3rd control center ...The space flight center in Florida is first, and the one in Texas is second. Our airport is in the running to become the first commercial spaceport, which would be terribly exciting!
