2016.09.12 Monday: Saturday afternoon (around the time that all of the Air Conditioner repair stores had closed for the weekend) the capacitor on our A/C unit quit working. We were very blessed that a "cold" front happened to be blowing through, so temperatures were lower and the air was less humid than it had been.
My son (who is working on his PhD in Mechanical Engineering) keeps our unit up-and-running, so this morning he bought and installed a new capacitor for us ...We are now blessed to have our air conditioner unit working just as the weather becomes hot and humid again!
