2016.09.20 Tuesday: While walking outdoors today I spotted this grasshopper ...He certainly seemed to have his eyes wide open!
Although the weather here has been a lot less humid lately - and we enjoyed a wonderful near-constant breeze today -- we reached a milestone of sorts: Today was our 100th day this year of temperatures above 90 degrees F (I believe that is 32 - 37 degrees C). By the end of the week we expect to have 105 days in the 90's.
Our first expected frost occurs anywhere between September 30 and October 30 ...This year our local weather forecasters are saying that we may have excessive heat for that entire time frame!
