Pretty in pink

It's raining today and it's that half-hearted, gloomy stuff that puts you off going anywhere much, so I only went out as far as our garden to take today's photo.
This is a shrub : Viburnum x bodnantense "Dawn" and it brings a very welcome touch of colour to the garden at this time of year.

And a very welcome scent? That pink really glows, probably in part because it is such a dull day?

I could just about smell it when I was taking the shot but my sense of smell's not too good. The pink is naturally quite vibrant but the dullness of the day undoubtedly helps.
