This is the TSS Duke of Lancaster. She's beached near Mostyn docks on the River Dee, N.Wales. It's possible to get a lot closer to her than this to take photos. @elzibell Trouble is, the only access to it is through that archway on the right. I had to bend over to walk through and I'm only 5' 3" ! No room for cars, either. Bit of a non-starter :-D
Gotta agree with the others. When I first saw it I wondered how it would ever get down that itty bitty stream. Did you ever think of shooting from the stream with the bridge (?) framing the ship? Even so, you bring back memories of another day. Unfortunately, this rust bucket was not so long ago.
@tobe Nice idea but shots using the bridge weren't possible for various reasons. I did get some more conventional pics. closer to the ship but this rather oddball shot appealed to my oddball sense of humour :-D
