Beautiful building - Oxford University Natural History Museum

Lester and I took our offspring* to Oxford today to visit the Natural History Museum and the Pitt Rivers Museum. The NH Museum is one of my favourite buildings. This is the roof/ceiling.
If you ever find yourself in Oxford these museums are well worth a visit. They're free and they are housed together. More details can be found here: http://www.oum.ox.ac.uk/visiting/index.htm and here: http://www.prm.ox.ac.uk/
*At 28 and 25, they're not really children :-)
I love the perspective and detail. Great picture.

I love the Pitt Rivers. Did you see the shrunken heads?

@bigsusan55 We do too. As it happens it was sunny yesterday but the PR's the ideal place for a wet miserable day when you want to DO something.
Oh yes. It's also compulsory to put money into the zombies coin-in-the-slot automaton :-D

I've not seen that. Must go back sometime. Thanks for reminding me.

Wow, great shot of an amazing ceiling. We lived down in Oxfordshire for several years but I have never been to the Natural History Museum there.

@cgould @natsnell @elzibell
Thank you. The light in the building is beautiful because of that amazing roof.
