Another quartz crystal from my collection; so called because it seems to contain a miniature landscape. It's known to New Age adherents as a dream crystal because of the dreamlike quality of that landscape.
The quartz crystal and its matrix rock form at the same time and in such a way that the quartz surrounds some of the rock. This is a process that can take millions of years.
My thanks to my friend Barry Taylor for this information.
Dimensions of the crystal are approximately: max. height 2.75" (7cm), max. width 2.25" (5.75cm), max.depth 1.5" (3.75cm).
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

That’s cool. It looks like a big crystal.
I have a couple of bits of quartz that were from my dad’s collection. They are on the floor in the bathroom, I should dust them off and take a photo.
@natsnell Thanks, Nat. I should've remembered to do include the dimensions of the crystal; have done an edit.
PS Sorry if you just got another e-mail notification as well as this one. Having an old-woman dither as usual. :-)
