Full steam ahead!

Lester and I went to High Wycombe today and on the way home we saw this traction engine coming towards us. There's a steam rally at Prestwood (about 7 miles from where we live) this weekend.
These engines have a top speed of around 5 mph but he's still going to be a bit early! I felt rather sorry for the people behind him; there's nowhere much to overtake on this road. Hopefully he did as he's supposed to and pulled over in the next lay-by to let the traffic pass.

Full steam ahead indeed. Maybe he is taking it for its MOT so he can drive it to the steam rally at the weekend.
